The NTS Network is comprised of university-based and industry core and affiliate members. These members co-author policy submissions, engage in media commentary and analysis, work with industry to suggest meaningful changes to professional practice based on evidence-based research in news technology and society, and provide a nexus for expertise in these areas across Schools and Colleges at RMIT.
Membership will be by email application to a managed network email account ([email protected]), with eligibility criteria based on current research funding, industry experience and leadership, and/or publication alignment with the core themes of the network.
Affiliate membership
Affiliate membership is open to research and industry stakeholders aligned in research or professional outcome to one or more of the research themes. Affiliate membership can be attained either by email application with eligibility criteria based on industry or research alignment with network themes, or invitation from the leadership group. Affiliate members will be able to participate in events, engage with research development opportunities, and collaborate with members on research projects by invitation. HDR affiliates will also be able to present at events and will engage with HDR-only workshops.
